Hello

Hi! I'm Lindsey and I am the maker behind Whittled Timber Co. I have been a maker my entire life, but truly started exploring wood and resin as a medium when the world shut down in 2020. I jumped right in and ordered my first CNC machine. When the machine arrived in over 1000 wooden pieces, my husband was skeptical and I was determined. I struggled for countless hours building my machine and then learning how to use it. I had never used any power tools prior to this time so I was a bit intimidated.

Once I had completed my first successful project I was officially hooked. It did not take long before I grew out of my first machine and started shopping for something heftier. I have since taught myself about a variety of wood species, how to source appropriate lumber from my local sawmills, how to use most power and hand tools, and just how much lumber I can fit into my minivan and still leave space for 3 kids.

Aside from woodworking and creating awesome stuff, I am also a pediatric occupational therapist and mother to three of the coolest kids I know.  The best part of this journey to becoming the woman behind Whittled Timber Co. is my children watching as I show them you can learn or achieve anything you are willing to invest your time and passion into.
